SYNCHRONOUS SERIAL COMMUNICATION : |
It is possible to connect several TLLs to a PLC using a single CS signal, a single CLK signal and a DATA signal for each TLL connected.
Gross weight without decimals is sent; to achieve maximum speed the PLCinput delay time has to be below 1ms.
Communication between TLL and PLC works as follows: PLC raises the signal on terminal 14 (CS). TLL replies by raising the signal on terminal 12 (DATA) to show that it is ready to transmit.
At this point the PLC raises the signal on terminal 13 (CLK = clock) and the transmission starts.
TLL sends a bit (0= low signal, 1=high signal) on terminal 12 (DATA) at every rising edge of the CLK signal sent by PLC. The weight bit number can be set to speed up the transmission; take into account the maximum weight value you need to transmit: 10 bit = 1023, 12 bit = 2047, 14 bit = 4095, 16 bit = 65535, 17 bit = 131071, 20 bit = 999999.
You can also enable the sign transmission (a bit before weight bits: high signal=negative weight; low signal=positive weight) and input status transmission (IN3-IN4: two bits after weight transmission: high signal=input closed, low signal=input open).
Weight bits are transmitted from most signifi cant bit (215) to less signifi cant bit (20).
Example (16 bit): 0101000111000010 = 0+16384+0+4096+0+0+0+256+12 8+64+0+0+0+0+2+0 = 20930.
If sign and input status are transmitted, 3 more bits are sent: example: for weight +20930, input 3 open, input 4 closed, the following bit sequence is sent: (sign bit) 0, (weight bits) 0101000111000010, (input bits) 01; total 19 bit (if 16-bit weight transmission is selected).
During data transmission CS signal has to be high; if in any moment CS signal goes low communication is aborted and the transmission has to be restarted. |
Load cell connection continuous check. |
RS485 and RS232 serial outputs for connection to remote display, PC/PLC up to 32 instruments (max 99 with line repeaters) by ASCII Laumas protocol (compatible with W60000) or ModBus RTU. Optional Protocols: Profi bus DP, Ethernet/ModbusTCP, USB and Radio by appropriate converter. |
THEORETICAL CALIBRATION is performed via keyboard. |
the two inputs can work as net/gross weight, zero-setting and peak. |
the four outputs can be set independently as N.O. or N.C. and work as setpoint, stable weight signal or they can be managed by PLC or PC. |
ANALOG OUTPUT VERSION (mod. TLLANA) : |
Opto-isolated 16-bit analog output 0-20 mA; 4-20 mA (max 300 ohm); 0-10V; 0-5V; ±10V; ±5V (min 10 kohm).
You can match zero and analog-output full scale and the corresponding weight values. |
